Okay, so we (finally) learn that Bookman had some kind of connections with the Noah 35 years back. And that he apparently lost an apprentice during those times (who was apparently Lavi's age now, OH, THE COINCIDENCE).
And yeah, one of my friends already mentioned this in their journal, but...
It turns out that Bookman knows stuff about the 14th. Cross also knew stuff about the 14th.
I KNEW IT, I FRIKKING KNEW IT.
CROSS IS SOOO LAVI'S FATHER, I SWEAR. I MEAN LOOK AT THEM.
...ahem. xD But seriously, I've been holding onto this crack theory ever since I've seen someone mention this somewhere on youtube for good laughs, and I considered the possibility and found it amusing and I figured, who knows, maybe it's not far from the truth after all? SO YEAH.
Well, my theory went like this: Cross was supposed become the next Bookman apprentice because he had the predisposition (and I mean his right eye here) but since he was too lazy of a bum for the job and wasn't looking forward to any of it... he needed to find someone else that could take his place. In other words, he needed a kid that could carry on his abilities (it's all in the genes, yeah?) And so... Yeah, shoot me now, but seriously? Now even Hoshino's starting to give us some weird hints! xD
The suspicious red-head relationship aside, was it just me or was Lenalee being cute in this chapter?
Allen gave up on food for Kanda's sake. FOOD. ALLEN.
Carrying on - I never liked Link. But he surprised me for the first time with his actions, and my respect for him grew a bit. Now if he only pulled that stick out of his ass for good...
About the last panel - I can't rid myself of the feeling that that weird priest dude is actually the Earl. But since the Earl should be kinda bed-ridden for now, it can't be him, can it? And does Allen have The Heart, after all?
Hopefully the next chapter will explain some things.
